The common target of this quality system is always to strive to fulfil the expectations of our customers to ensure food safety. The system achieves this by taking defined product, customer and food safety specifications and utilising the principles of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) approach. By incorporating Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice (GHP), the risks to product safety and poor quality are identified. This method of process control allows us to analyse errors and implement continuous improvement throughout our operation.
In growing almonds, Century Orchards Pty Ltd at all times follows the best practice quality procedure as laid out in the Quality Assurance manual.
All management and staff of the company are empowered to take responsibility for decisions effecting quality of the almonds delivered to our customer. We aim through staff training, incentives, monitoring and company policy to achieve a high quality product.
